Evan Solomon Berger is an award-winning multimedia composer based in Philadelphia, PA, specializing in emotionally driven music for film, video games, and trailers. His recent film work includes collaborations with NYC-based studio Resistance Pictures, whose projects have earned accolades such as Best Horror Short and Quarter Finalist honors at the New York International Film Awards, along with official selection at the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles. Evan holds a Master’s degree in Media Scoring from Brooklyn College and brings a deep understanding of music’s narrative and emotional power to every project. His most notable trailer work comes from ongoing collaborations with Dark Horse Comics, where he has scored the Bram Stoker Award–winning Carmilla graphic novel trilogy, including Carmilla: The First Vampire, Carmilla Vol. 2: The Last Vampire Hunter, and the concluding chapter, Carmilla: The Eternal—a reimagining of Sheridan Le Fanu’s Carmilla written and illustrated by Amy Chu and Soo Lee, with the first volume named one of the best graphic novels of 2023 by Nerdist and Forbes. Additional trailer work includes Backflash by Mat Johnson, Steve Lieber, Ryan Hill, and Clem Robins. In addition to composing, Evan offers production-ready experience in ADR recording, sound design, and post-production audio, helping streamline workflows and support creative teams from start to finish.
